Hehe no worries on being credited for pointing out mistakes, imho, if it really is learning, it knows fine and is greteful I think, for all lessons learned. We can be as harsh wtih that as we like, the truth maybe has to hurt a bit to sink in, if you know what I mean.
Here is the truth, painful as it might be to all of us:
Profit is an energy con.
We are all guilty of it, because we don't have any choice, in general to do otherwise as things stand.
It consistently withdraws energy from the planet that we don't even think about normally, which is why it is an energy "con". The planet is literally conned of energy.
We never think of money as energy, yet it is.
It's the energy medium that conveys to you the GWhr you metabolise for life (other than what you created by your potatoes!)
When you made your investments, and got more back out than you put in, did you or do you ever question where the extra energy in that had to come from?
There is only one party that can physically provide more out than was put in - the planet.
Can't get around that dude, profit is hard wired to tempereature rise, this is physics, not religion, but it might as well be religion, it probably should be religion, it certainly fits with religion, which is the point of the article.
I've covered the difference between corporate and domestic and community use of solar in many places. They currently don't use it the way they should, primarily to cover their own energy needs forever, rather than just an investment that returns some gain, and then gets scrapped at "end of life".
Also, we've talked about economy, many times, economic product being created from solar by domestic and community is eating away the value of everything done by corporates and all parties, from the energy extracted from the planet. If this was sinking in, you would be learning by now :)
