Happy Birthday Indi, welcome to adulthood :)
I have a cousin about your age, nearly twenty years younger than me. He says more or less the same as you, the world he aspired to have a piece of, inspired by us, his older generation, enjoying "The fruits of our labor", is blowing up, just as he is getting his hands on it.
He is the one person in my family that I have not been able to convince that the changes we are seeing will lead to a better world, for everybody. He is a hard worker, who feels like his reward is being snatched out of his hands.
That I don't seem to be able convince folks of your generation of what needs to be done, and the rewards you will receive for doing it, is a little worrying, because you guys are going to be the next in power, and, assuming the current trend of those in power continues, effectively hoarding, preventing a better world, if you don't do what needs to be done, (Issue massive stimulus, based on monetisation of solar energy, backed up by hydrogen) then it is probably game over for everyone.
