Thanks for that brilliant demo of how the egos think about nature, if it's not for profit then it doesn't exist, and it certainly can't be valid, right?

But its physics, and nature, and it all works in interconnected systems, way outside of profit. If you only understand the part about profit, not even enough to know why its unsustainable, you are only seeing a very small fraction of the picture.

Grids are only needed to try to maintain the system of energy slavery, its an instrument used to enslave you, as I guess you didn't notice.

Convert what you pay to utilities energy companies as bills into energy at market rates, and you'jll see you have to give them more energy than they give to you. The net flow of energy is from you to them, not the other way round.

Notice you need to metabolise around 3kWhrs per day just to stay alive (W.H.O data - "Human Energy Requirements").

How do you get that energy? You give somebody a little energy as as work, or some money that somebody got by doing that, in return for more energy back in the form of money. This is how you need to live, you have to make energy profit, by conning it, from someone else, who then has to con someone else to get back what they lost to you so they can live too, and yada yada, Paul robs Peter all the way back to the planet, which is the only thing that can supply more energy out than in, for any length of time, about 2000 years, as it turns out.

The natural energy distribution system of nature starts with the sun on Earth, distributed. To use that, as we are starting to do, to ultimately get all the energy we need from it, it has to be collected on a domestic and community basis, ie everyone gets energy independence, no need for grids, except maybe the odd big business, like aerospace, that will need locally extra energy resources, which can come from the community as hydrogen, which does actually power planes sustainably, the illusion of needing batteries for everything is much reduced, when we realise the benefits of hydrogen.
