Great that you are at last looking at the connection between energy and the problems we see, thanks for posting.
There are a few popular fundamental misconceptions that need to be put right though, if we wish to see things fixed, I hope you will avoid perpetuating in future articles.
Firstly, wind isn’t the same as solar, far from it. The reason they are put in the same box of “Clean” or “Green” is fundamentally profit driven.
Solar is the original source of all energy, it is free, it is abundant, it is donated from an external source so it does not fit with profit driven business models.
Scarcity is a fundamental requirement for profit to be possible, therefore eliminating it removes all possibilities of profit.
Nikolai Tesla knew this, as did JP Morgan after Tesla informed him, hence probably the real reason Tesla was defunded from that moment onwards, from creating and running any further significant projects for life.
Wind is a form of stored energy of Earth, put here firstly by solar.
So wind is secondhand energy, whereas solar is firsthand, the only form of firsthand energy.
Energy needs to be in a stored form in order to fit with our current economic system, that is, the system of accounting for all things in terms of capital and profit.
A KWh is an amount of stored energy, which equates to a static sum of capital.
That is the real reason firsthand energy appears to have never been seriously pursued, and yet it is the only answer to all problems.
We used to have such a thing as a gold standard, and a fixed estimation of world wealth based on the same, “400 Trillion dollars” was the last estimate I heard on that, from an expert, even a controversial expert, proponent of Bitcoin, on a popular tv channel.
But he misses the real power of Bitcoin, it has turned the conversion process of humanity from secondhand energy to firsthand, the elimination of scarcity, by making it into a profit driven endeavour, and we are much further down that road than most people realise, it is obscured by our still heavily profit driven blinkers, the mindset we all have that prevents us from seeing anything which is not profit driven, as the true reality of nature.
Nature really does have a grand donor, it is all donated from the sun, we just need to see how to accept it, and how to distribute it, asking nothing in return.
Ironically, the involvement so far, of the company which bears the name of Tesla, in Bitcoin, serves only to obscure the thing of real value, that Nikolai Tesla himself was interested in bringing to us.
Does Elon Musk know this? Time will tell.
A new kind of money needs to be recognised, a kind that is worth nothing stored, but worth everything in transfer, like firsthand energy, it is generated and given out for free, real donation of it is the authority to print it, granted and underwritten by the sun.
The thing granted authority is Bitcoin, that is the first kind of Proof of work money, money as sunlight, all others are descendants of it, and can be freely printed forever on its authority.
