Great story, thanks for posting, but reading it makes me think of the old phrase “Never look a gift-horse in the mouth”.

We are so busy looking into the details of the nature of light that we forget its purpose in nature.

It is the medium by which the original source of all of it, the sun, transmits all energy, and thus all wealth, to us and our planet.

Nature creates things from sunlight donated to all things.

Humans create things from money.

But money isn’t much donated, since it has always been perceived to be of a fixed quantity.

In fact people are even shamed, for expecting it to be donated.

That is changing though, since we started to monetise sunlight, by solar powered Bitcoin, for example.

Only a matter of time now, until we see light as what it really is, something infinitely valuable, given to us for free.
