Good you are thinking about this, but with respect, this is typical doomer / fossil fuel-lensed, also conventional profit driven science-lensed misunderstanding.
Aircon is only a problem if it is powered by energy extracted from Earth.
If it is powered by the energy of the sun, then it is not possible to create a worse heating effect than if neither we nor nature used the energy of the sun to do anything, other than just let it do it's worst heating to the planet.
Any use of the energy of the sun at all has to have a negative temperature effect.
Aircon powered by the energy of the sun has to do what it says on the tin, it has to truly cool. Even badly inefficient Aircon stiil has to cool, if it works at all, though more efficient Aircon has to cool more, still Aircon at any efficiency working from solar energy has to have a net cooling effect.
Conventional science can't see this, because it does not go to the trouble of mathematically signing energy in and out of the planet, to audit it's effects.
Because there is no profit in doing that, conventional profit driven science will say this makes things unnecessarily complicated, no profit driven entity will fund this, because there is no profit in it, so it becomes a victim of Occam's razor, which is actually a profit driven instrument.
I won't carry on further here, it's a long, unprofitable story.
But existentially important, I suggest you follow it to find out the real truth about the global energy problem.
