Good you are excited about this, AR is potentially a truly powerful and humanity empowering technology, with one caveat, the conclusion of it has to be non profit.

Otherwise it has to add to the technologies being used against us, though in that mode, the technology will never be fully realised.

The full power of AR comes about with a detailed live, unified enhanced digital twin of the real world, viewable through, and superimposed upon the real world we also see with AR glasses.

By that, dynamically scanned and updated by the glasses of all users, we would be able to see through buildings, mountains, and even the world.

Like x ray vision for all people, but with added bells and whistles.

Just one of many superpowers we can have with AR.

It will never happen by profit though, like Blockchain, profit can’t be had from it, though anything can be used in Ponzi, a temporary illusion of profit is always possible.

In fact, isn’t that what all profit is anyway, but I digress.

I hope one day soon we will be back in a position to create such a human enhancing development as the ultimate in AR.

Then maybe I will finish the work I started on it.

That is why I don’t work on it meantime, the blocker of a profit driven world has to be fixed first, before we can proceed to the full AR development.

Facebook, or anyone currently pushing the related technology cannot do it in competition, the system has to be unified to be implemented in all places by rhe same standards, and in any case, it is not possible to extract value from a networked captive market which has no competition, as by doing so, the value is reduced, therefore less powerful.

In other words, users simply move to whichever system rewards them the most, removing competive power from the owners of the network, thus reducing profits.

That is why we will never see the networks of East and West unite, as long as they are Each profit driven.

Yet by Metcalfes law, the value of a unified AR network would have the highest ever network utility, thus the highest ever value of anything weve ever known previously.

By value, Metcalfe and other people who see this mean the value to all of humanity, not just some.

To realise it, profit is going to have to be history.

Free money, massive free money generated by solar powered proof of work tokens appears to be the way forward.

That, when everyone is equipped with their own perpetual solar powered personal currencies, will be the end of profit, and capitalism, and the beginning of the world in which we will see unified AR unleashed with all of the benefits, and none of the drawbacks.

Why would anyone wish to use it against anyone else then, other than as just a harmless game, if there was no profit to be had by that, and yet still every individual would be hansomely rewarded for using to benefit humanity.
