Good stuff Ray, thanks for posting. The hardest part it seems to me right now is going to be to not descend into a place of blaming others.
The more information that comes out about what can only be described as an actual physical energy war, at the root of the problem, the harder it is to ignore that here we are here identifying the actual forces always meant in religious texts as "Good" and "Evil", confirming we are actually at the end times, but the weird thing about it is that those backing the wrong side seem to be doing so from genuine ignorance (If there can be such a thing), there is no real plot to dream up a dastardly plan, they / we literally don't have the intellgence to do that, when we are in very privileged positions, it seems to me. When seemingly educated folk are uneducated in a way that they can't apply their logic to seeing the simple truth, they are driven as if by instinct to do the wrong thing, and to support the wrong team.
That is why I can't help wondering if we might have some genetic programing to do something ultimately horrendous, there is a systemic theory which strongly indicates this is true, however, it is hackable, by the right education, I believe.
One of the scariest things I've found about this, coming myself from a very atheist, non spiritual, "Scientific" technical background, effectively spending most of my life as a soldier on the wrong side, so as to speak, is noticing what seems to be screaming religious significance, in one of the most recent stories I've done (Again this is still a journey of discovery for me).
The story I mean is the one identifying that we (The Scientific community), should have always insisted on energy being mathematically signed.
The most graphic way I could think of, to push the point home, that folk would remember at least symbolically, was to put the mathematical sign of the cross (Mathematical positive) on the circular background of the solar disk, to show that solar energy is the one positive. All others are negative, because they have to be, the system does not resolve any other way, mathematically, as we know from conservation of energy laws.
Now, remembering from my days as a hardware engineer designing electrical metering hardware, 30 years ago, a fundamental problem we sometimes wrestled with, was that ethically, an electrical meter has to authentically measure flow of energy, including the direction it is flowing in. It does that by incrementing positively per unit (KWh), to show delivered energy, and incrementing negatively, to show units of energy received, from the pov of the utilities energy company.
However, the consequence of this, is that energy delivered to the utilities companies by consumers is not explicitly measured, since the energy flowing in either direction is not mathematically signed, it has to be deduced, by comparing "Energy missing", with other data, such as demographics, which we know has to be proportional to actual energy use. Every human dissipates around 100W of energy, in absence of all other power they might use or need to keep themselves warm or cool, for example.
Going through this analysis, we find that the energy missing, therefore the energy supplied by domestica and community solar is actually really significant, which has to be having the effect on economy that is predicted by the analyses of Kardashev Money.
50Bn, is the figure coming out for the value of that energy in UK this year.
Since 2005, it looks like maybe 457Bn.
And yet, the public, who supplied this energy by their own installed community and domestic solar, are being demanded to pay.... 50Bn. That is no coinicidence, it is the consequence of the missing sign on energy.
If the energy had been mathematically signed, positive for the energy from source (The sun), negatve for the energy supplied from extraction, then subtracting positive energy from negative energy would have given the total sum of business done, and therefore the amount of money that should have been issued, to monetise and support that business in the economy, and further, whcih portion of it had been supplied by the public, therefore who should have received issue of the money.
As is, with this unsolved, because government has the sign of the "Debt" the wrong way round, not even recognising a debt, because poitive energy is unrecognised, we are heading for a brick-wall impass of impossible to meet demands made by governments, of people, when all along what they should be doing, is issuing money for positive energy put to use.
Again it can't be as money-as-debt, because there is no labor of extraction involved with positive energy. So the banks will have a problem with this for sure, until maybe they understand it has to be so.
If this isn't what religion always meant, by the messages we received in the form of almost like nursery rhymes, for a rudmentary species very early in its evolution, on the real meaning of good and evil, I will eat my hat, I swear.
It looks like we have conflicting genetic programing. We were first created maybe as low-brow beings designed to do what ultimately results from profit, and perpetual use of negative energy driving all things; the destruction of everything on Earth including most life on it, to deliver Earth away from the sun.
After that, we were re-programed, to do good, with the intention we would ultiimately come to use the energy of the sun to add the same benefits to Earth as everything else on Earth, but on steroids.
If true, then Internally, we have a war going on, to go either with positive or negative energy.
If we know this is the truth, like maybe it has to be, we are much more likely to have a clear view of the decision we are implicitly making, when we choose to go with positive or negative energy.
Obviously the more intelligent choice will triumph, everyone with any logic at all has to choose positive energy.
Sorry, this has turned into yet another rambling reply, but I am haveing real trouble getting the platform to publicise any of this whatsoever, I hope you understand.

Btw, if you want to use the power of symbolism, as an emblem to represent this cause of fixing the planet energy problem, I would recommend the cross within a circle, representing the postive energy of the sun.
