Good logic. But it omits the actual source of the problem - profit - the basic drive to profit at the expense of the other. You do have that, otherwise you would be dead, in the system as stands.

And taking your stated logic a step further, your instinct is to try to energy starve the other, to have them perish from lack of energy because you perceive them to be the source of the problem, when it isn't them, but us, all of us, practicing profit, who have created the inhuman, live system between us.

And look, when we all degenerate to wishing to energy starve all other humans, as we seem to be doing, the net result is destruction of all life. We take it all with us, on our way out, removing it from all future life.
