Agreed, giving just enough is not what is needed. Solar indexed UBI is significant, It stands at more than 600 Bn for UK right now. It is hundreds of billions in every developed country. I written articles on how to calculate it. I call it "Kardashev Money" for want of a better terrm at the time when it first became apparent.

Going by the maths, and the formal systems analysis, time is not the enemy, profit is. The problem looks independent of time to me. The damage being done is geared simply to profits made. The energy of every transaction of profit comes from the planet. Profit is the mathematically negative force driving everything. To kill profit, we just have to start giving, for nothing, the monies representing the economic product already created from solar, the energy already received for free, honestly announced as such. This is something owed to all people. Further, it devalues money the more it accrues, hence the physical reason why we are seeing inflation. That is unstoppable until the right thing is done. The technology all exists, the machine capable of distributing energy from the sun to all people via money has already been built, though at an early stage, it will grow like a plant, if we just switch on the nutrient flow within it (money). It is switched on the instant we start to issue the solar indexed stimulus. This instantly transmits the energy received historically from solar to all people, empowering all to complete the transition to 100% solar. That process of transition would be a year or two at most.
