How it works, in terms of energy, and money is energy of a kind, energy is constantly demanded of us by those higher up in the chain of capital possession, capital is just stored energy, which attracts more energy, possession of a certain amount of capital earns us a certain follow of energy, upwards, from the successive layers of lesser capital holders at each layer downwards, towards Earth, where it all has to come from, in the raw form of fossil fuels or rare materials.
This is what ties us into eternal extraction from Earth, we've had no choice but keep participating in it until now.
But now there is becoming apparent a sustainable system solution based on domestic and community solar hydrogen, which appears to be being forced on us by nature, and she holds all the aces, including even Ai which looks like ideal system controller, capable of even helping design itself into the system using all the tools of formal systems Engineering, which it knows, I can confirm this as a long practicing Systems Engineer myself.
