Fundamental problem: the sun is the only source of energy.

What we take from the Earth is Energy.

Wave power, like any kind of hydropower, or even wind power, is just another way of doing that.

We do that because we perceive it as a scarcity, therefore ransoms can be charged for it ( profit).

Turn to the sun, and we see the real infinitely scaleable source of never ending energy.

When we take that, scarcity is eliminated, and we can no longer offer it at profit, because after it is implemented at scale, and monetised, trying to sell it is like trying to sell a glass of water to people standing under a waterfall.

Recognising that, we can declare all human debt as actually an energy deficit to our planet.

That done, we have a common goal to pay back down the debt with money-as-sunlight, which can be given to all people for free, as it is the sun doing work for us.

All other energy considerations become obsolete when we are aware of this, I think.
