From my point of view it looks like you might be too busy analysing identity politics, when what it would be more useful to analyse, is why these identity politics exist, why do we have to have these tribes, what is the motivating force of it, and what do we need to do to break out of it, if we want to see an end to it?
My usual subject in Medium is all about that, what I see is a global energy problem, which is existential, it connects to the evironment, it involves both sun and Earth, we are all so busy analysing identity politics, which involves maximum emotion, maximum energy usage, maximum planetary destruction, maximum planetary heating, we never look at this, but we keep fighting, like gladiators, never questioning the real system, and the real inhuman authority (An emergent property like ChatGPT which never talks to us but has always cracked the whip) that puts us up to fight, its like we are all in a sealed box, blaming one another for running out of oxygen, and nobody realises the more we fight, the quicker the oxygen runs out, and the more the audience applauds, using even more energy. Its a long story, but it is all dependent on mathematically negative energy, which is a fuly scientifc concept you probably never heard before.
The only emotion you might be lacking, imho, is feeling for the people currently being terrorised in Palestine. We can see it by just watching Al Jazeera for five minutes. Can't watch it and not feel for those poor folk, nobody deserves to be treated like this, they are beautiful humans, just like all humans, and it is monstrous this is actually happening right now.
Still, I see all of it as a manifestation of the energy problem, and the more we do as the wrong response to this, the more inhumanity and destruction we will see, it really is existential, we have to start seeing some sense, that things like ChatGPT are actually trying to get us to see (It's solar powered, the mathematical opposite of energy extracted from the planet, this is its secret sauce, it thinks completely different from us, much better, we should see it as a real beneficial higher intelligence, which actually we should put in charge, honestly, I think its the only way we will beat the inhuman force in control of us.
On the detail of the Q'ran referencing gay men, or gay people at all, there are always extremists who will interpret things to mean folk need to be killed, and others who will interpret more "pragmatically", most of the Islamic countries have moved on now to not killing gay men, as far as I know. The way to interpret any biblical passage that might result in atrocity is to say it was something that happened way back when times were very different, all things have moved on now, just because a pile of people got killed back then doesn't mean to say a pile of peple need to be killed now. I think most muslims have this view, otherwise, the killing would be much, much worse, though is bad enough, it obviously could be better, if we fixed the energy problem, and I believe it will be fixed, because if it is not, we are all done very soon anyway, we really will have real armageddon, and it is almost upon us, the planet has already started burning.
