For sure, what does "Smarter" even mean? Personally I don't think it is very smart to aspire to be gods ourselves, by having power over vast numbers of people, because the people as a system are the more god-like thing, with vastly more intelligence than the individual trying to dictate to them, and the responsibility for always being wrong as such a leader eventually gets to the leader themselves, driving them insane I think. Insanity is not a happy stare of mind, it seems to me, only idiots aspire to it :)
