For sure our planet at least should be acknowledged as a living thing, so that we might pay it back what we owe.

We’ve extracted the stored energy of Earth forever in our short history and already are in trouble, as we never repay the debt.
Our debt is an energy debt to Earth.
Earth is our grand creditor.
Earth, and everything on it is a storage medium of energy from the sun.
It was bestowed for free, and we’ve been busy extracting it and selling it as possession for profit, discrete piece by piece, each one valued as another piece of capital, an amount of tokens in a ledger.
Things could be put right tomorrow if the banks could somehow be convinced to acknowledge that and transfer all financial debt owed to Earth, because it does all trace back to that at source.
The only way to pay it back down (repair the damage) is by wholesale utilisation of solar energy, put to beneficial use on Earth.
