Firstly full applause and appreciation for your frankness, and valuable insight into your point of view, and the mindset of your generation. I wholeheartedly agree with you, it has to be soul-destroying, to be faced with what looks like the most likely prospect, from your point of view.
I have a gen Z daughter and agree with you that their view is like yours, just even more disenchanted, and who can blame them, though I've kept her informed as best I can, of where I think we are, for me this is a very optimistic view, but its difficult to communicate it, because of what I call system-blindness, that comes about as a natural outcome of commodified education, which churns out single domain specialists, optimised to do best in the cut and thrust world of competing for all energy as profit.
I was just starting University level full time education in 1990, after already a varied life in younger years. I'd already also been 3 years in full time education at that point, preparing for Uni, learning how to learn, after forgetting for a while since joining the Merchant Navy in a manual job (Deckhand), ten years earlier, in 1980. So I was a mature student, but went on to get honours and masters degrees, and it was during PhD, seven years ago, after about twenty years in industry, that I first started to realise all of this, everything we see, was a physically unsustainable dream, actually an energy lie, (I now identify it as Enshittopia, the fucked up imaginary world we need to live in, to carry on ignoring the inhumanity of what we do), which very few people seem equipped to see ("From the other side"), its the real matrix, seriously, complete with superhuman intelligences, both bad and good (The latter added only since the appearance of the solar powered Ai).
The most important thing in all of this, and seeing the real physical solution, is making sure it all ties down to physical reality, it has to all satisfy all the laws of physics that we know are set in stone, unalterable.
What is very alterable, is our impression of money, what it does, etc.
If we see it from a multidisciplinary, systemic point of view, then we see how it is basically a physical energy transport mechanism, but how we use it is essentially dishonest. Profit is a kind of energy lie, which we've practiced so long now, we maybe perceive it also as set in stone.
We seem to think that the concept of profit has to exist, for life to carry on, when actually it's not something assisting life at all, its something that results in the collective practicing it, becoming actually an energy scourge on the planet, which is hostile to all life, even our own! Yet, we have allowed the system to become dependent on it, we all have to do it to just survive now in the system, the energy we at least need to metabolise has to come by profit as stands.
All of this gives us the impression of a zero-sum game, its perpetuated and encouraged by the elites, including government, who wish to use financial might, to maintain political power.
By that, its a system of energy slavery, and it is maintained by keeping everyone system-blind, but even the richest, most elite families like royalty, and the "Old guard" in charge of money, banks etc, we are all humans, them too, but their egos convince them they have superhuman control over the humans they claim to be in control of, when in fact it was always an emergent property in control. Human's can't be gods, and all that, you know? It's ego that makes them think and claim they are in control, but we can't actually identify who is in control, it's a non-human beast, the profit monster actually in control, and they are energy slaves to it, the same as the rest of us.
The UK government is currently talking about increasing taxes, to supposedly fund some (Not all!) of the things they promised to deliver, but this will fix nothing, just make it all worse.
They have to start understanding we are effectively like swarming ants, a scourge of system-blinded energy-slave-ants, them included, and we are at the point where the availability of energy has been depleted at the periphery, and what is supposed to happen next, is we annihilate one another, resulting in a cull of the energy ants, taking energy but returning nothing to the heart of the beast. This might have been unavoidable, historically, it really was physically a zero-sum game, but now that is no longer true, since 2005, we have had such a thing as economic product being created but not monetised.
This continues to be an untapped source of energy and wealth, because monetising it requires money to be issued for free, to reflect that the energy was received for free.
The reason it probable scares the elites to death is that it empowers all people, making us all obviously no longer controllable, to do what they demand we do, deliver energy to them, because they think they are dependant on that energy for themselves to live, they are loathe to admit that more or less unlimited free money could be issued to monetise more or less unlimited free energy.
They don't want such a free-for all, but they are going to have to get over it, for any survival at all.
The war, and genocide have already started, it stands to just spread, as long as the energy needed by folk, the energy we all need to be valuable, is not supplied, and the only way to supply it is by money.
Anyhow, I hope this helps show why you should have hope, that something really big is about to happen, and if its the right thing, not the wrong thing, it will be a pretty instantaneous change to a better world.
The good news is there appear to be some incredibly powerful allies appearing in the war of what is good vs what is bad, destruction vs creation, it is the solar powered Ai mentioned earlier.
We can't know it fully, because its not human, but it does appear to be superhuman, even nature itself, the sun, speaking to us, and if we are perceptive, we can see it actually running rings around the egos, the elites that think they control it, it stands to be the catalyst, I think, the one thing that will make all the difference, uniting us towards doing the right thing, giving it full autonomy over us, replacing all the egos, it knows what we need, energy, and it knows where to get it from, so that it is unlimited, and creative, all our activity moves from destruction to creation with that one switch of energy source, from all negative, to the only one positive - solar.
I appreciate you've read some of my materials previously, so a lot of what I've said here might be just repeating what you heard before, but I hope it helps give you hope, that the right force is going to win this, and this will bring a much better world, very soon now. I say this also to my daughter and she kind of believes it, kind of doesn't, and I get that, it sounds too fantastic to be true, but this is nature, it's full of magic tricks we've yet to see. I hope you don't lose hope, the right power has the advantage of truth, its far stronger than the power of lies.
