First para is academic, in my opinion so I don't see much point arguing about it.

Second para, it looks like you think nothing can be done about that, whilst the work I've done over the past six years shows why we can and must change it, and how, with the technical solution needed. If we don't make this change, removing the need for, and the function of profit, then there will be no more "Us" for much longer. I show why that is too, because profit is an unsustainable energy con. I understand why most scientists are reluctant to tie the profit monster down, is because it looks too religious, threatening their funding which is always for profit, hence why I don't think arguments from the academic and scientific community, dismissing religion and all references to religion as nothing more than hocus-pocus helps much.

What they / you should be doing, is asking why, when we dig deep into the energy problem, do we find so many parallels with religion, how did it know, if we only just evolved to understand it now?
