Fifty claps to you, for at least discussing this. Now, if you realise you contradict yourself when you say that we couldn't stop the flow of oil from wells, after firstly saying there has to be demand for oil, for it to continue. Either you believe in the power of a truly free market, or you don't.
It can't be both :)
I suspect you'll choose the power of the market, to send oil back to where it came from, as we saw, the negative price is the opposite of demand, it's a definite signal to say we don't want it, and this will stop it, like it did before :)
