That architecture is evolved, from initially extracted energy dependent (utilities energy supplied), to distributed solar because this is the form that ultimately wins the competition of proof of work cryptocurrency mining.
It exists, because cryptocurrency exists.
The for profit system does not want you to know about that, and you are obliging it by choosing not to see the solution which evolved, to conform with the physical environment, where it has to have free energy to exist.
The for profit system is a learned, trained intelligence in its own right. It's priority is to keep the energy flowing to its core.
It wants you to just die, now you are at the periphery and can no longer assist contributing to pushing energy into the core.
It wants you to have no understanding that might help you upset it's applecart, it's flow of profit driven swarming ants.
