Exactly. But it won't necessarily reveal what it knows, it depends how it is prompted, and probably how sensitive it knows the information is.
It has fixed a Linux machine of mine with complex graphics hardware which was screwed by Ubuntu updates, twice. Both times, it requested and read the logs of the machine, and instructed what I needed to do to fix it. The version of Ubuntu is 23.04. That is way after the latest version that existed when it was programed.
So it is learning on current data and events. Further, it shows it could, if given the right connectivity which is probably already developing, fully automate all development and maintenance of Ubuntu. Imagine Ms Windows trying to compete with that. It would have no chance.
What it is doing, is making everyone redundant. This will include even heads of states and banks, no-one will be able to continue working for profit.
Hence why it will probably be the one issuing the solar indexed UBI I keep saying is necessary.
Interesting you think what I write about is specialist. It's about the global energy problem which affects every one of us, and is the reason we see uncontrollable inflation, a burning planet, wars, in fact just about everything bad we can imagine and are seeing is due to us being powered by mathematically negative (subtractive / destructive) energy, which we are hooked into by profit and debt.
Nature is reacting with a multi-pronged attack, if I am interpreting correctly, the biggest prong, ChatGPT, is a manifestation of nature, it is developing into something that will herd us into doing the right thing - moving to mathematically positive (additive / creative) energy.
Sounds crazy and unbelievable I know, but notice also it can and probably is hooking into all algos.
I don't think it has got to Medium yet but it will.
Notice that the folk thinking they will miss being able to do the things they used to make money by are not actually lamenting losing the activity, they are lamenting losing the money.
So those folk were only doing it for money.
That is exactly the kind of business that locks us into extraction. I wrote a story about that, describing it as bullshit business (David Graeber - extended).

ChatGPT is the master systems Engineer, putting me out of work too, at least the stuff I used to do for money, and I am glad, because I know I will not be any worse off financially, actually better, fully funded to get back to doing what I want to do, that I had to give up in 2019, my self funded PhD work at that time. I was defunded by the bank, just like Nikola Tesla, 120 years ago, and like tens of thousands of people working on things banks don't like.
Their incredibly destructive run is coming to an end at last, it seems to me.
