Eric, you might well be right, there could be unknown physics at work wherever we look, but something you might be missing is unknown politics, that is the politics of the other side, which is cancelled unless you look for it with a vpn or whatever. When you hear both sides then there is no longer any mystery here, just clarity on why one side or another would prefer us to believe certain flying objects were not missiles or bullets at all, but mysterious alien objects.
