Er no, no, no, this is not the right way to look at it.
Look at it this way: Every kg of green hydrogen produced is 33KWhrs removed from the heat potential of the sun, until it is consumed, regardless of efficiency.
Since when did the joules of energy cost anything at all to the sun? Why do you think 33KWhrs of energy from the sun costs anything at all?
The secret, to make it all for free, is to issue money on it all for free, at the market rates of KWhrs. This is the only way to monetise it. Do that, and it is much better even than for free, its income, get it?
By this we are literally putting back the energy dissipated to heat by consumption of fossil fuels previously.
Not putting back the energy we took out is the biggest mistake we could ever make, its the one that is pushing up the temperature, and the planet / nature will make us pay, massively, for not putting it back, we literally can't afford not to put it back.
How long do you think it will be before insurance companies start to fold, like a house of cards, as soon as the next big disaster happens to a "more developed" part of the world?
