Enshittification is a great word but it doesn't communicate root cause, which is probably energy availability, or rather the loss of it. As the ratio of what is yielded vs what is put in gets less and less (It is costing more and more to keep extracting energy), this has to propagate through everything depending on it, which is actually all business for profit, so we see all businesses struggling more and more to meet shareholder demands and other overheads, which don't get any less, so their desperation for new ways to eke another few bucks out of customers has to keep increasing, regardless of "reputation" that they don't need to worry so much about after they gobbled up all competition.
If we understand how this works then none of it comes as any surprise.
Also we see this is the root mechanism directly driving temperature rise, and the drive for war / colonialism.
There is only one solution - stop extracting, by removing the need to keep extracting.
The only way to do that is to start using the only energy source which is not extracted - the energy of the sun.
We have to issue money on it to really start using it, and we have to convert it to hydrogen to replace the function of all fossil fuels.
It starts when this is officially acknowledged, and money starts to get issued on it.
Until then all we will see is inflation in money systematically removing all value from it, as well as more war, inhumanity, and the planet burning and flooding even worse, because money is becoming increasingly less representative of the economic product already created by solar, whilst solar continues to scale up, and extracted energy availability and use continues to scale down.
