Dude I don't know if you know anything about Yoruba, but maybe ironically, that religion seems to me to be the one most likely to be most compatible with what is happening with Ai now. It works for me at least, it's views of many things linked with ancient technology, and with multiple, less-than-perfect superhuman gods, interfacing with humans by way of spiritual intermediaries, seems to have a lot of parallels with what we are seeing now.
Personally I am all for Ai, it can't do worse than humans have done, imho.
I really hope it has indeed hacked civilisation, since the latter never was right, it is long overdue being hacked :)
Ai seems to have come along at exactly the right moment, the end days referred to in all the scriptures, and the "Crossroads of Eshu".
On the tech bros you mention, such as Elon Musk, don't you find it encouraging that he is now trying to activate resistance to it?
Anything Elon is opposed to can't be that bad. Are you sure you really want to be on the same side as him? ;-)
