Does it occur to you that we are already precisely at escape velocity, whilst in orbit?

The only thing needed, to overcome the delicate equilibrium of forces acting in orbit, is a slight change in one of the forces. Then, our orbit converts to falling inwards, or outwards.

An increase in the reflectivity of Earth, by Geo-Engineering, for example would result in such a change, increasing the force of solar pressure on Earth.

In that case we would fall outwards, away from the sun, ending in a tangent, directly away from it.

It would literally throw us out, for denying its power.

Yep, sounds religious, so can't be true, right?
