Do you think you are not an energy slave? I guess so, if you think slavery is gone. Look at your energy bills. Do you have a choice on whether or not to pay those? You know you are paying more KWhrs in the form of money than the KWhrs you get in the electricity right? Are you happy with that? Do you have a choice on whether or not to supply government with energy in the form of money paid in taxes, necessitating you to forage for energy by getting a job, working for someone taking more energy out of the planet than they put in, thus pushing up the planetary temperature, so they can give you more kWhrs in money than you give to them as work, so you can pay your taxes and energy bills?

Or maybe you are an investor, pensioner, all that working business behind you, you still need whatever you are invested in to give you more back out than you put in, and that body of business then has to do the extraction from the planet to return the energy you need. It doesn't matter our position in the system as stands, we all have to contribute to the damage being done to the planet, until we go solar non profit, all of us, on a domestic and community basis, all creating something exchangeable from the energy received, so as to get the energy we need to live, and enjoy life.

Only then will you be free from slavery.
