Did you know the energy from the sun created everything we know, including all energy? It all came from the sun in the first place, and when we talk about "Generating" electricity by any means other than collecting it by solar farms, what we are actually doing is de-creating something created by the sun to extract a little of the solar energy it took to create it.

An example is driving to the shops consuming a little fossil fuel it took literally millions of years of solar energy to create. But we can’t breathe the exhaust of the car engine directly piped to our lungs, for not even a single breath.
The same de-creation pollution rule goes for wind, coal, oil, volcanic, hydro, anything except direct conversion of the rays from the sun, or de-creation of fuel we created ourselves from the sun such as hydrogen.

We can directly breathe the exhaust fumes from hydrogen engines, and we can also drink the water produced by hydrogen combustion with no ill effects.
The de-creation energy extraction process is the one thing different in the way we use power, from the way plants use it.
Plants are the interface between the sun and all life, the way they convert and distribute energy is the way of life.
It follows that the way we de-create all things for energy is the way of death.

De-creation, is anti-life, always producing deadly by-products of all kinds, in other words, pollution.
Solar power is the single possible way of reversing the harm done by de-creation throughout our existence to date.
The reason this simple logic is not general knowledge appears to be our obsession with profit.

Further, in response to another of your respondees here, someone maybe afraid of a new world in which scarcity can no longer be enforced, the energy of the sun is fusion, it is clean, free, everlasting, and infinitely capable of supplying all the energy we could ever demand from it, so the advantage anyone might think they have from amassed capital is removed by effective use of it.

Lastly, Bitcoin is forcing massive solar power infrastructure which we may eventually switch to, after Bitcoin minting ceases, so it could actually be the thing that finally changes us, from relentlessly de-creating, to relentlessly creating, just like plants, but turbocharged, fueled by endless money generated by the energy of the sun.
