Despite your story being a few months old, and under-commented, this is going to come around much faster than most folk realise right now, we are on the edge of an energy revolution, driven by nature, it looks like domestic and community solar is much more powerful than most folk have realised, least of all the uitilities industries who have already lost a large portion of their business to it, hydrogen looks like the ideal backup solution, with the added bonus of it being produced far in excess of what every community needs, it could become something offered on every street corner, motivating EV manufacturers and owners to convert existing and future EVs to HEVs.
