Describing warmongers, unwitting or not as optimists is a bit of a stretch, but I agree with your message. Personally I see your writings stand out as amongst the more honest in Medium, and more informed. I think this is as heppy as we can be, knowing truth, it feels much better than feeling like we were duped, and we are much closer to solving the root cause (the global energy problem) when we have truth rather than lies, like you say. I think we are learning, and this would be what I would describe as optimism :)
