My own criticisms of capitalism are from a purely engineering point of view, I have no opinions on socialism, though I believe that will be a natural outcome. To me, with my experience in life trying to innovate including as a historical patentee myself, the use of capital advantage far more often results in destroying good ideas and good tech. There is no humanity in profit, when the choice is forced, as it ultimately always is, on whether to profit, or whether to have human pity, or humanity, profit ultimately wins hands down.
