Cool technique, stating something obvious as if it was ever in dispute, to throw off anyone thinking your target could somehow perhaps be logical and sane.

My path has not always been bang on the nail, it has been an explorative learning process for me.

The not so clever look only for opportunities where they might benefit from confusion.
