Cool story with some cool technology, but I don’t understand the logic of how you came to the conclusion that food without light is possible.

Energy itself, all energy, comes to us originally in the form of light from the sun.

Without that, there can be nothing, not even radioctive materials for nuclear power.

Otherwise, where did the energy to create those come from?
