Cool article, we can see your good intentions with it. But I am not sure if the Punic wars are the best example to use, since Rome won those in the end, whereas I seriously doubt the US would win in a war with China and Russia now, even with the help of all Western countries.

Anyway it is all acedemic, knowing we have an existential energy problem which overrides pretty much all regional conflicts, now we have to do what is necessary to avoid this situation becoming existentially unbeatable. To beat it, we are all going to have to collaborate. Fighting wars is just a useless, dangerous activity, imho.

We never had this situation or anything like it previously, I think.
