I wonder though, what you would think if you knew of an alternative paradigm, one involving technology, where again there is a relationship between an even much greater rate of technological expansion, and the production of misinformation, where that relationship in the new paradigm is inverse?
Taken to its conclusion, technological expansion in such a paradigm would result in the complete elimination of all misinformation.
Which means you would be out of work as a journalist, as would all journalists, since all people would in effect, be carrying out the function of journalism between them.
But the flipside is that all people, including former journalists, would have a good income, with no dependence on any other individual, government, corporation, or other employer to issue their rewards.
Would you be happy with such a world?
