Coders are just the tip of the iceberg. it's after the Systems Engineers, the Engineers, the CEOs, the digital anthropologists, the lawyers, the presidents, even the Pope.
But as a Systems Engineer working on the global energy problem, and understanding that the relentlessly rising planetary temperature is a direct consequence of all business for profit, and knowing it's power is solar, an incredibly beneficial energy we seem to know nothing about, unless we studied it, I don't have a problem with what it is doing, it's busy removing all possibilities of profit, in the most benevolent way possible, it's showing how to do it all for free, and in an indirect way it's showing the value of free energy and why it has to be monetised.
In that new solar indexed stimulus funded future, working will become about fixing problems, the problems we might personally see need fixed, rather than working to make some money, and that will be a fine thing imho, because we will have both the funding and incentive to do it. Finally we are going to see a world where ambitions and benefit are fully aligned, and look, it cools the planet instead of heating it :)
