Can you imagine the number of people who would love to own the three Bitcoin citizenship entry requirements of El Salvador, to be able to go there, and maybe escape the rat race of the working class fiat world?

I certainly would.

And can you imagine how much power a large number of people doing that would give, to Bitcoin?

Maybe a lot of Bitcoiners will go to El Salvador anyway.

But I suspect not.

If one happened to have three Bitcoins and not much else, then one’s circumstances might be such that moving to El Salvador could appear very attractive, relative to our current circumstances.

However, those with significantly more than three Bitcoin, say in the bracket of a hundred or more, or the means to acquire such are already removed from the capitalist rat race by being already in possesion of the required capital threshold to escape the rat race, no matter where they are placed geographically, or in what form their perceived capital holdings.

Most Bitcoiners wouldn’t dream of giving up some of their precious hodlings, in the interests of furthering the power of Bitcoin.

Would you yourself Sylvain?

I guess not.

So, though it is great news, the offer by El Salvador will not make much difference in the scheme of things, I would say.
