Caitlin there appears to be more and more connection with energy, in everything we see happening, it seems to me.
All of it is a crisis of energy, which corroborates much of your arguments. It all fits in a much bigger story of how nature uses energy as her currency, and we are failing to use it, even refusing to use it, choosing instead currency based on capital, which is never energy itself, just things nature created from energy, which we then destruct to obtain some of the energy back out.
