But you / we all still participate in the for profit economy, whilst profit is energy yielded from the planet, accompanied by proportionally much more thrown to heat, for every cent of profit. We have to at least get the food energy we need to eat, every one of us has to consistently trade more energy in than out, so this is an energy lie, whilst there is no blanket effect associated with the atmosphere because it's adiabatic, so the global heat rise isn't about carbon, it's actually a direct measure of increase of entropy, which can only be reversed by photosynthesis, like plants (including those plants you eat!) do, continuously removing the heat energy from the sun which would have happened if nothing used it.
The only way we are going to defeat the real monster enslaving us to destroy the planet, is to really understand it in terms of energy, think about it, think how to end it's run, before it ends us.
