Bullshit Jobs, Anti-work / Freedom Protests, the Global Climate Crisis, Global Inequality, and the Global Energy Crisis, are all connected by Economy, with One Simple Fix
We Must Connect to the Sun, Economically.
The late David Graeber defined bullshit Jobs:
The Anti-Work / Freedom movement we are seeing going on around the world in various guises:
I think we all know a little about Bullshit Jobs. My take is in the Neoliberalism Prison Story:
Max Keiser followers might have noticed he and stacy touched on the subject of Bullshit Jobs, mentioning the power wasted by those.
If you understand my main thread in Medium (See the Bitcoin as a Kardashev Hinge story), you’ll probably guess I don’t agree with Max & Stacy and their / El Salvador’s current obsession with volcanic power and volcanic bonds. Hopefully Bitcoin will survive whatever the outcome.
At the end of the day volcanic energy is stored Energy (Earth Capital), the use of any of which is an unsustainable Ponzi with undesirable side effects which are never discovered until after the capital is invested, as always.
But they are absolutely right about bullshit jobs being linked to wasted energy, it seems to me.
They pointed out that when we go fully renewable, our energy requirement will be far less than it currently is.
As I’ve explained elsewhere, there is no renewable energy, only one actual source of energy, the sun.
So it is when we connect fully to the sun that we will see we have a much reduced requirement for energy.
By then we will probably also have realised that actual raw wealth is the energy of the sun. It is infinite, endless, and donated to us for free, and that is what must be monetised to put all things right.
I’ve shown the basics of how we can do it in the Money-Fuel Tree Story.
Around that, we might see a new field of Engineering, “Kardashev Engineering”, and a new kind of money, “Kardashev Money”.
The future is bright, it seems to me.
The only question is; when are the Banks, Conventional Econonomists, Capital Investors, and Governments going to see it?
