Bring energy into the argument and everything changes. It is pointless to talk about economics without that, as that is the only way to fix the Grand Energy Ponzi which underlies everything.

Nature is about energy. We only need to make money function in the same way as sunlight, the currency of nature, to fix all.

The secret seems to be in keeping it flowing from source to destination.

We have no problems Engineering Systems to do just that in terms of energy; an Engine is a perfect example. And yet there appears little drive to do similar with money.

The fix appears to be underway with proof of work tokens powered by sunlight.
