Faisal, glad to see you talking about this, it is a pretty important subject, but battery backup for solar power is only a temporary requirement, whilst we are in transition from Kardashev stage zero, to Kardashev stage one.
Bitcoin is money-as-sunlight, powered by several countries worth of solar power which is distributed around the world.
It never stops, because the Bitcoin network is worldwide, and the sun always shines somewhere.
So there has to come a worldwide power grid.
Scale the distributed solar energy capacity to meet and even exceed maximum demand attached to that, by using money-as-sunlight, and the need for mains power backup is gone, no more need for batteries, except for EVs, but even they can run from fuel cells, which become viable with infinite free money.
That is something most Bitcoiners, most environmentalists, most economists, and most scientists don’t seem to yet understand; Bitcoin isn’t just about transformation of money, its also about transformation of energy, and that is the most valuable part.
Systems Engineers can see it; the emergence of the ultimate system.
