Battery production, as long as batteries contain rare elements, has to hit a brick wall sooner or later, like oil. So reversible hydrogen fuel cell technology seems to fill a gap; vehicles based on those are effectively dual-fuelled, they can recharge either by green hydrogen, or by electrical charge.
Couple that with solar farms, backed up by the same reversible fuel cell technology, and we should quickly see how solar collection infrastructure meshes nicely with reversible hydrogen dual-fuelled vehicles.
