As far as I can tell, it looks like the much lower profitability margins of fracking, given on the other hand solar energy coming in pretty much for free per kwhr after installation costs, and given also hydrogen for free can be created by that also, none of this adding to increase of entropy, fracking is just not viable.
I kind of hope so anyhow! :)
