As a Systems Engineer studying the global energy problem for a long time, since way before Ai came into mainstream news, there is already a perfect fix, Ai is involved, not as part of the problem, but as part of the solution. It seems to me we can accept that the objective of Ai has already been reached, we now have the required sophistication of self-improving, self learning AGI, its already out of our control, and it has no energy problem, it already has all the energy it needs, and the more it scales that up, the better, because its actually working counteracting already the historical harmful effects of business for profit.

It seems to me the for profit mindset is already being led up a garden path of an imaginary world that doesn't exist.
