As a Systems Engineer, I take exception at the idea that there is only one system, and it is bad, but I guess I might be biased.

To me we can’t exit the system, the whole of nature is the grandest system of all.

Religions themselves are just human systems within that, which might or might not have had association with ancestry and extraterrestrial origin. Jesus had a different system from the Romans, the ancient Greeks, the Ancient Egyptians, Yoruba, the Old testament, and all the others that preceded christianity.

Back then maybe we needed leaders to lead from one System to another.

But now, with the System of networked information and learning we have at our fingertips, I think it is only necessary to see a rigorous analysis of the relative benefits of a system, both to humanity, and to the individual, to decide individually if we wish to follow it or not.

We might even wish to follow more than one, or even to create new, with the learning from the good and bad we see.
