Are we ready to wake up yet?
The nightmare unfolding is something of our own making. It isn’t too late yet to wake up.
I had occasion to watch with my daughter on Netflix, the Marvel movie “V for Vendetta”, just a few days before the excellent star actor who played the villain in the movie, John Hurt, sadly passed away in the real world.
If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. It is incredibly relevant to what is happening in our world right now, and a much easier, quicker digest than reading Orwell’s 1984.
If you have read 1984, it is still worth watching, as a kind of refresher / update.
What it does, is hammer home the effect and incredibly evil nature of propaganda.
The film might also be the origin of the now iconic anonymous mask also. I don’t remember ever seeing that or knowing about it in my 42 years of life before this film was made.
In the Movie, John Hurt plays the despotic Hitler-esque leader, Adam Sutler who no-one except his closest aides ever sees in Public anymore, only on a huge video screen, making speeches to the populace.
When we watched the remotely screened President Zelensky being cheered by the US congress live on all TV channels in the West today, I couldn’t help seeing the similarities.
Remember Zelensky was always an actor, just like Trump.
If he really wanted to see the end of the war in Ukraine, he would have been horrified at the news of weapons being sent to the already volatile situation in Ukraine (That we are never told about, with all media sources likely to tell us, literally cancelled). So this current wave of Zelensky adulation is not about stopping any war. It is actually outrageous to claim otherwise. But instead of outrage, we gush adoration.
Let’s say a child is on fire, and the parent asks us to help put it out, we hand the parent a bottle of petrol, they throw that on the fire, and it engulfs the child with flames. What do we do? Hand them more, hoping to maybe put the child out of its misery?
Today we promised hundreds of millions of dollars worth of more weapons to be sent.
See how ridiculous and evil it looks, when we look at it, I mean truly look at it?
Russia has been cancelled by Western media, in case it somehow manages to make us see how sick these actual events are.
But Russia continues with its mission in Ukraine, regardless.
The governments in the US, the UK, France, Germany, and most Wetern countries are in trouble with the ratings of their respective populations. Things are going belly-up, and they don’t know what to do about it, except react with indignant outrage, stoking up war-mongering emotions in the public with a constant barrage of propaganda, believing that somehow, they will win popular approval, by being seen to be “Forceful”, and “Strong”, against the seemingly evil dictator, Putin.
All the while they are walking a tight-rope between how far to escalate towards nuclear war, and actually having the nuclear war, whilst underlying all, is the ominous oncoming of global fuel shortage, which undermines the financial economy of all countries.
But it isn’t too late to stop, take stock, and change direction.
A worldwide fuel shortage is not an energy shortage.
The sun, the root source of all energy in our solar system, still shines, as strongly as ever.

To do it, it needs to be seen as actual reality, by more than just you and I.
It needs to be clear also to our world leaders.
It also needs to be clear to our world leaders that they can’t pull the wool over our eyes any longer. We are no longer asleep in the nightmare.
We just need to let them know we are awake, and show them the plan.
I don’t have their attention.
But maybe you do, or can get.
It’s the only way out of this nightmare.
