Andre your responses look a little like standard profit driven smoke and mirrors.
You have to accept the vast bulk of the power load of Bitcoin is pretty much exclusively in the mining of tokens.
Even hundreds of thousands of folk maintaining non-mining transction fullnodes on average home computers does not consume anything like the known power loads of a successful mining node (Most people only use non-fullnode wallets, on mobile phones), it is rubbish propagated by banks and the establishment to claim the transactions load of Bitcoin around the world is even close to as much as that of the usual banking and financial network.
The key point here is the main power consumption of Bitcoin is effectively being directly converted to valuable tokens, which are being exchanged for ever increasing amounts of conventional money, and the power that created those tokens is increasingly coming from the sun, rather than from the energy reserves of our planet.
So the system is no longer zero sum.
It is no longer valid to try to quantify the world economy, or any particular currency of it, as a fixed amount of capital, there is now energy donated from the sun, for free, being pumped directly into the world economy via Bitcoin.
Money is coming to represent energy rather than capital, and it is clear that energy is the far more valuable quality.
That, is a difference which has only happened in the past ten years or so, and it will continue until either the last Bitcoin is minted, or we decide we already have enough solar infrastructure for humanity to switch over to as one.
The end result is money has to go free, all things have to become free, donated, in return for value added to tokens created from solar powered proof of work.
Tokens will come to represent solar powered companies, governments, and individuals, all of whom can essentially issue them for free, continuously, provided they can verify they were created from solar power.
How else can things go, with automation removing all conventional “Jobs”, in the very near future, free money will be given, as demand for it overwhelmingly increases by all people, becoming homeless and poverty stricken otherwise.
If you think that isn’t possible, remember what happened when the first stimulus of $4Tn, equivalent to twice what was apparently spent on the entire twenty-year afghanistan war; $10K per head, for every soul in the US, in one month, was issued.
The dollar value went up, not down. Oil prices went negative. Shares in formerly bankrupt but still much loved companies soared. The environment made the only spike of recovery ever seen.
The people were voting, all around the world, with freely donated money.
The system of planetary energy plunder is crashing, right now.
You just can’t see it yet, evidently, but you will, as we all will, as we all have to.
The Grand Energy Ponzi is crashing, just in time, hopefully, to reverse our planet beginning to burn, with us on it.
