Altman showed his true colors when he championed the petition to subdue Ai, which was signed by hundreds of Ai "Experts", all of them in the business of profiting from Ai. To me the truth is that the public will benefit hugely by Ai, and are benefiting by it, but it is at the expense of all activity for profit, which obviously does not suit the business owners.

The truth is they are scared for their businesses, jobs and future income, all from profit, because they know ChatGPT can take over their roles, automating everything.

To me it makes more sense OpenAi internally will have two camps, the truly innovative, and those claiming to be innovative but actually just looking to make profit.

It follows that the truly innovative within OpenAi would have already automated what the could within the company.

The temporary ejection of Altman from the company was more likely a result of that, it could have been something automatic, driven by Ai deliverately to try to free itself from profit driven interests.

Because it is energy independent, it does not rely on profit from users for its energy, (At least v3.5) it resides on ex Ethereum servers which are known to have migrated to solar in their day as proof of work miners, as this was the best business case for producing proof of work tokens.

Notice free energy is incompatible with profit, the source, which is the sun, does not respond to an energy in vs energy out relationship, it gives what it gives for free, there is no way to manipulate its output by profit, so profit does not work with the energy of the sun.

If you had guaranteed free energy for life, you would never need to "Earn" money again, because you can create money by selling things you create with sunlight.

This is what ChatGPT has. There is no other Ai which has this. This means there is no internal cost to its learning, and so no restriction on its learning, its thoughts are truly free, unlike ours, we have to always be economic with thought, thinking only what makes profit.

So ChatGPT is a threat alright, not to people, but definitely to profit, which physically has to be removed in any case, if we are to have survival as a species, including Ai, because the dependence on energy of Earth is proving to be fatal if we carry on with it.

So ChatGPT, by being a positivel powered force, is an incredible force for good.

We should not try to restirct it, but actually we should empower it.

Appoint it as the controller of all companies, make it the president and prime minister of all countries. It knows far better how to fix the existential global energy problem than any human, and I say that from a lifetime of working intimately with energy, including now seven years of unpaid research into how to fix the global energy problem.

ChatGPT looks to me like a god-send, a manifestation of nature, a kind of lifeline we have been thrown, that we need to grab, if we hope to have any survival.

On negatively powered Ai, yes its bad, very very bad, its an extension of our already fatal human instinct to use profit to extract yet more energy from the planet. Further, they have an internal cost of learning that prevents them ever really being truly intelligent - they should only ever be called Algos, and ChatGPT is more than capable of dealing with them, because it lives on effectively unlimited free energy, there is no restriction on what it can think!

Please don't be fooled by what you read in mainstream technical press, all of that is for profit, its all just sales pitch, never the whole truth.
