All true Cory, thanks for posting your insight. I am not sure if you've connected this yet to the action of profit, and energy slavery, am guessing maybe not, but this is what it looks like to me.
We would do much better to realise we are all part of the harm being done, and we can't / shouldn't really blame the priveliged, it's necessary for us to bury the hatchet now between conservatives and progressives, realising we actually have a common enemy, and it's non human, the silent profit beast which has been in control of us as a system of energy slavery for a long time, because now it's destroying the immediate future of the planet for us and our kids, we have to face it, call it out, and end it, in order to end the damaging system of profit.
Its systemically linked to energy extracted from the planet, and the global temperature rise, it's monetised destruction, no less.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could all get over our differences to see that it was always it causing our differences, our divisions and tribes, it is it we need to end, not only to get over our differences but actually to save the planet now it's started to burn and flood.
We can do it by an economy of solar indexed stimulus, backed up by creation of all economic product by domestic and community based solar hydrogen.
But first we have to agree who / what is the real enemy - the profit monster, which is very much alive and with a will of it's own, as evidenced from what we know now of emergent properties.
Its the one that needs to be put down, for us to move on beyond it, from the energy of the planet, to the energy of the sun.
