All these concerns become redundant when we truly switch to solar, by monetising it.
Then we won't be generating the carbon anyhow so why bother doing business trying to remove it, since it doesn't have the effect on global temperature claimed anyhow because the atmosphere is adiabatic, the fundamental problem is we can't create by energy extracted from the planet, it's impossible. The temperature rise is direct measure of increase of entropy - destruction.
The only energy that can be used to reverse that, is the energy of the sun. Creation can only be done by enetgy coming into the system from an external source, and there is only one.
If you really want to ask the right question ask why no money is issued on the KWhrs of energy coming in from the sun. Yet utilities energy companies charge money for those, right? So how come no money is issued on the far more valuable KWhrs from the sun, given with nothing asked in return,, the only ones we can use to create, why the hell is no money issued on those?
